Pharmacy Students

Pharmacy students in their first year at the College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba are required to register with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (the College) using the Application for Registration as a Student of the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba .

Pharmacy students entering their final year at the College of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba are required to complete an Intern Application with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (the College) in order to be recognized as an intern while doing their fourth year training.

Once you have graduated from the College of Pharmacy and completed your 360-hour internship, you will be required to apply as a new graduate for your first practicing licence.

Please note, you cannot transfer internship hours spent with one preceptor to another. If you decide to change your internship site/preceptor, you must first have approval from the Registrar of the College to do so, and the new preceptor must also be approved by the Council of the College.

New U of M Graduates

Upon completion of your fourth year of Pharmacy at the U of M, you will be sent information on how to indicate your preceptor and complete the process towards becoming a practising pharmacist.
